The first time I walked into the lobby of Hotel Covington, I was in awe of its spaciousiousness, brightness, and delicacy. Not only is the atmosphere noticeably beautiful but the menu is to match. Only steps away from the front doors, Coppins restaurant is absolutely incredible-from presentation to flavor to creativity. Weeks later, when I went to recommend the hotel via a shared website link, I noticed that the site had darker colors and motifs that I felt took away from their beautiful photos. I desired a more streamlined experience as a user, to generate more breath-taking moments digitally through large-span photography, giving the user the ability to view all that the hotel had to offer right on the homepage. It seemed like a great opportunity to develop a prototype.
